Liverpool Make it BigCongratulations to Raffa Benitez and his Liverpool players. They thoroughly deserve to go to the Champions League final in Athens to contest once again the trophy they won so dramatically three years ago. They did not try to destabilise or abuse the opposition. They did not dive, cheat or attempt to con the referee. They remained composed and focused after what looked like a perfectly good goal, and potentially a winning goal, was chalked off by an over-enthusiastic linesman. And having battled hard for 90 minutes and throughout extra time, they had the character and the technique to win the penalty shoot-out.
